The Director/Manager of Cybersecurity leads the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and day-to-day security operations, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets, with a strong focus on protecting sensitive data, including PHI.
In this role, the Director/Manager of Cybersecurity sets the vision for cybersecurity services, establishes security standards and policies, and drives enterprise-wide security initiatives. This position carries financial and budget responsibility, manages vendors and external partners, and oversees cybersecurity staff, including performance management and career development. The role also develops and executes long-term cybersecurity roadmaps and partners closely with IT and clinical technology teams to secure systems, reduce risk, and maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the cybersecurity team, including performance management, coaching, and career development
Oversee day-to-day cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring, incident detection, and response
Establish and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls to protect sensitive data and PHI
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and applicable regulatory requirements
Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and technical initiatives aligned with organizational goals
Partner with IT, clinical technology, and business leaders to integrate cybersecurity across the enterprise
Lead incident response and forensic investigations to mitigate risk and prevent recurrence
Manage third-party cybersecurity risk, including vendors, partners, and biomedical devices
Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance
Develop and manage cybersecurity operating and capital budgets
Promote security awareness through employee training and education programs

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution preferred

Valid Tennessee driver’s license with state-required minimum insurance coverage

Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for all site manufacturing activities, ensuring alignment with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives
Oversee plant operations and resource allocation, serving as the primary decision-maker for manufacturing priorities and escalation management
Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, and internal quality standards across all manufacturing processes
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Technical Services to resolve deviations, mitigate risks, and maintain audit readiness
Lead workforce strategy initiatives, including cross-training programs and resource leveling to improve flexibility and optimize labor utilization
Collaborate with HR and Training to maintain accurate skill matrices aligned with production needs
Monitor and drive performance metrics such as OEE, yield, cycle time, labor efficiency, and scrap rates to identify improvement opportunities
Direct continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies (A3, Kaizen, root cause analysis)
Sustain operational excellence initiatives including 5S, SMED, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping to enhance throughput and reduce waste
Develop and mentor leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies
