Job Summary
Homeland Talent Solutions is partnering with an established acute-care healthcare organization to hire an experienced MRI Technologist to join its Imaging department. The MRI Technologist will play an important role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting a diverse acute-care patient population and collaborating with an experienced Imaging team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an MRI Technologist seeking competitive compensation, an $8,000 sign-on bonus, and the opportunity to grow within an established healthcare organization.


Responsibilities
  • Review patient history, clinical information, and physician orders prior to MRI examinations
  • Explain MRI procedures clearly to patients and help promote comfort, understanding, and cooperation
  • Complete thorough MRI safety screening and identify potential contraindications before examinations
  • Prepare and administer contrast media or medications in accordance with applicable scope, protocols, and safety standards
  • Position patients appropriately and perform MRI examinations using established imaging protocols and parameters
  • Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond promptly and appropriately to changes in condition or patient needs
  • Evaluate images for quality, completeness, and diagnostic value, making technical or positioning adjustments as needed
  • Maintain MRI safety standards, equipment readiness, infection-control practices, and quality-control procedures
  • Accurately document examination information and ensure images and related documentation are properly transmitted and available for interpretation
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and Imaging team members to support efficient workflows and high-quality patient care


Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited MRI or radiologic technology program, preferred
  • Current applicable MRI or radiologic technologist registration/certification, preferred
  • Current BLS certification, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices with exceptional attention to detail, preferred
  • Strong patientcare, communication, and critical-thinking skills, preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute-care Imaging environment, preferred


Benefits
