Job Summary Homeland Talent Solutions is partnering with an established acute-care healthcare organization in Hickory, NC to hire a CT Technologist for a high-priority opening within its Imaging team.
This department has a significant PRN need, creating a strong opportunity for experienced CT Technologists seeking hours and scheduled flexibility. The team uses GE scanners but welcomes candidates with experience on other platforms.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality diagnostic CT examinations
Review physician orders and relevant patient history
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Administer contrast within applicable scope and established protocols
Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Apply radiation-safety, patient-safety, and image-quality standards
Evaluate image quality and make necessary positioning or technical adjustments
Accurately document and transmit examination information
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and Imaging team members
Requirements
Appropriate education from an accredited radiologic technology program
Current applicable radiologic technologist registration/certification
Current BLS certification
At least one year of CT experience preferred
Strong patient-care, communication, and imaging skills
GE scanner experience is helpful but not required; candidates from other scanner platforms are encouraged to apply
Additional Information PRN / as-needed scheduling based on department coverage needs
Benefits This role offers an hourly rate of $36.24 - $48.92/hour, based on relevant experience.
