Job Summary Homeland Talent Solutions is partnering with an established acute-care healthcare organization in Hickory, NC to hire a CT Technologist for a high-priority opening within its Imaging team.
The CT Technologist offers an attractive weekday daytime schedule and flexibility around schedule structure. The department uses GE scanners and is willing to cross-train experienced CT Technologists coming from other scanner platforms.
Responsibilities
Review patient history and physician orders before CT examinations
Explain procedures to patients and help ensure understanding and cooperation
Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within applicable scope and protocol
Position patients and perform diagnostic CT examinations
Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes
Apply imaging, radiation-safety, and quality-control standards
Evaluate image quality and make adjustments or repeat images when necessary
Prepare equipment and supplies and troubleshoot or report equipment issues
Accurately document and transmit examination information and results
Requirements
Appropriate education from an accredited radiologic technology program
Current applicable radiologic technologist registration/certification
Current BLS certification
At least one year of CT experience preferred
Strong patient-care, communication, and imaging skills
GE scanner experience is helpful but not required; candidates from other scanner platforms are encouraged to apply
Additional Information Weekday day-shift schedule with 4x10 structure and potential 3x12 flexibility.
Benefits This role offers an hourly rate of $30.20-$40.77/hour, based on relevant experience, as well as an $8,000 sign-on bonus. This is a full-time direct-hire opportunity with comprehensive benefits.
