Job Summary Homeland Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading healthcare technology organization to identify a Director of Product Management – EHR/Clinical to help shape the future of a mission-critical clinical software platform used by clinicians delivering care in the home.
This is an important role within an organization undergoing significant Product and technology transformation, including modernization of its clinical/EHR platform, expansion of point-of-care capabilities, and increased adoption of AI and agentic technology across Product development.
The Director of Product Management – EHR/Clinical will be responsible for more than roadmap management. This role requires a strategic healthcare SaaS Product leader who can identify market opportunities, develop compelling business cases for Product investments, establish a clear product vision, and lead Product teams from strategy through execution. Success will come from translating customer and market needs into meaningful product improvements while driving measurable customer and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Own the strategic direction, vision, and Product roadmap for a major clinical/EHR workstream
Shape the next generation of clinical and point-of-care capabilities supporting complex healthcare workflows and care delivery
Evaluate customer needs, market opportunities, regulatory requirements, business priorities, and ROI to determine where Product resources and investments should be focused
Develop and present compelling business cases for major Product investments, maintaining accountability for the customer and business outcomes those investments are intended to deliver
Lead Product modernization initiatives spanning clinical documentation, point-of-care workflows, interoperability, mobile experiences, and emerging technologies
Translate Product strategy into clear priorities, roadmaps, and executable plans across multiple Product and Engineering teams
Lead, mentor, and develop approximately 3–5 Product Managers/Product Owners, establishing clear direction, accountability, and alignment across the team
Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Clinical, Regulatory, Finance, Customer Success, and executive leadership to drive cross-functional Product initiatives
Monitor evolving healthcare regulations and industry requirements, incorporating relevant changes into Product strategy, priorities, and roadmaps
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and agentic technologies to accelerate Product research, discovery, ideation, analysis, and decision-making
Establish and track meaningful Product metrics to evaluate adoption, customer value, business impact, and the success of strategic initiatives
Communicate Product vision, priorities, investment decisions, and progress clearly to senior leadership and key stakeholders

Strong Product leadership experience within a SaaS or technology environment
Healthcare technology or healthcare SaaS experience, with exposure to EHRs, clinical workflows, point-of-care solutions, or other complex healthcare products
Proven ability to lead Product opportunities from market and customer research through strategy, prioritization, execution, and measurable customer and business outcomes
Strong business acumen and judgment, with the ability to evaluate Product investments based on ROI, customer value, market opportunity, risk, and organizational priorities
Demonstrated experience developing Product strategy and roadmaps and leading cross-functional teams through execution
Experience leading through Product Managers and Product Owners, with a focus on setting direction, developing talent, and driving accountability rather than operating primarily as an individual contributor

Exceptional executive communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build alignment across technical, clinical, and business teams
Ability to bring structure, clarity, and strategic direction to an evolving Product organization while identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
Forward-thinking approach to AI and agentic technology, with an interest in applying emerging tools to Product research, discovery, development, and decision-making
Direct Product Management experience with EHR, clinical software, clinical workflows, or point-of-care technology, preferred
Experience supporting Home Health, Hospice, Post-Acute, or other home-based care environments, preferred
Experience developing products used directly by clinicians or other healthcare professionals, preferred
