Job Summary Homeland is partnering with a leading regional healthcare system in Hickory, North Carolina to identify a Physical Therapist for its inpatient rehabilitation/acute rehabilitation unit. This opportunity offers the chance to work with an adult patient population in a highly collaborative therapy environment focused on functional recovery, mobility, independence, and safe discharge planning.
The ideal Physical Therapist will have experience in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, neurological rehabilitation, or a related setting. Strong new graduates with relevant inpatient rehabilitation or neurological clinical rotations are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care
Provide functional, patient-centered treatment focused on mobility, transfers, gait, stair training, strength, endurance, balance, and independence
Treat a broad adult rehabilitation population, including patients with debility and neurological conditions
Adjust treatment duration and approach based on patient tolerance, functional needs, and rehabilitation goals
Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapy, nursing, physicians, case management, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Participate in discharge planning and help prepare patients for safe transition back to the community
Complete required clinical documentation accurately and efficiently
Participate in weekend and holiday coverage rotations across inpatient rehabilitation and hospital therapy needs
Maintain clinical competency and follow hospital, regulatory, safety, and patient-care standards
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain North Carolina licensure prior to start
BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe
Strong communication, collaboration, and patient-care skills
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation environment
Willingness to participate in weekend and holiday coverage rotations
New graduates with relevant inpatient rehabilitation, acute-care, or neurological clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
Additional Information Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with rotating weekend/holiday coverage
Benefits This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $38.88-$49.00, along with a $10,000 sign on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
