Job Summary
Homeland Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical and sterile manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Plant Manager to lead critical manufacturing operations in a highly regulated production environment. The Senior Plant Manager is responsible for driving operational performance across safety, quality, compliance, delivery, and productivity while leading manufacturing supervisors and frontline teams. In this role, the Senior Plant Manager will build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement while ensuring production goals are consistently achieved in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Plant Manager will partner closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and Site Leadership to resolve operational challenges, improve manufacturing performance, and ensure efficient execution of production schedules. This role requires a hands-on leadership approach to remove operational barriers, develop supervisors, and maintain continuous production flow while meeting all regulatory and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily manufacturing operations ensuring safety, quality, compliance, and production targets are met
  • Manage and develop manufacturing supervisors and frontline teams
  • Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs and use data to improve productivity, efficiency, and compliance
  • Remove operational barriers and resolve production issues quickly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, etc.)
  • Support workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, and training initiatives
  • Coach and develop leaders to strengthen team performance and engagement
  • Prepare and present operational performance updates to senior leadership
  • Adjust resources and priorities to maintain production continuity


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of manufacturing operations experience in a regulated environment
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors and manufacturing teams
  • Experience leading workforce planning, KPIs, and operational performance improvement
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in regulated industries (pharma, biologics, sterile injectables, med device, food/bev, etc) preferred
  • Knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, and compliance standards preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to coach and influence teams
  • Experience with production systems and Microsoft Excel required
  • 10+ years of leadership and 40+ indirect reports preferred
  • Experience in high-growth or complex manufacturing environments preferred


Benefits
This role offers a salary range of $113,500 to $181,000, along with a 10%–12% shift differential depending on the assigned schedule. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may also be available for qualified candidates.
