Job Summary
Homeland Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading technology organization to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join a newly formed AI Product Engineering team.

This team is responsible for building new software products and features that bring AI capabilities into customer facing applications. Working closely with AI Scientists, Product Managers, and other engineers, you'll help turn machine learning models into scalable, production-ready software.

This isn't a research role or a traditional enterprise software position focused on maintaining legacy applications. The focus is on building new products using modern technologies and solving interesting engineering challenges.

If you enjoy building software from the ground up, working across the full stack, and learning new technologies, this is an opportunity to work on some of the organization's newest engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy modern software applications
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs that support AI powered features
• Build modern full stack applications using technologies like Python, TypeScript, and React
• Partner with AI Scientists to integrate machine learning models into production software
• Build intelligent application features using large language models and agent-based workflows
• Participate in technical design discussions and architecture decisions
• Write clean, maintainable, well tested code
• Use modern AI development tools to improve development speed and software quality
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to deliver new capabilities

Requirements
Required

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building customer facing software products
• Strong experience with Python
• Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React
• Experience designing and building APIs and backend services
• Experience developing cloud native applications
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Snowflake
• Databricks
• AWS Bedrock
• Azure AI Foundry
• LLM integration
• AI Agents
• Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
• GitHub Copilot
• Cursor
• Claude Code
• Modern CI/CD practices

Additional Information
We're looking for engineers who enjoy building products, solving meaningful technical problems, and learning new technologies. The strongest candidates come from product organizations, SaaS companies, startups, or modern technology teams where they've built new applications rather than primarily maintaining existing systems. Experience working alongside AI or Machine Learning teams is a plus, but we're ultimately looking for strong software engineers who are excited about building the next generation of AI-enabled products.

Benefits
This hybrid role offers a competitive annual salary of $110,000 – 136,800, opportunities for annual bonus as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
