As the MRI Supervisor, you will oversee daily MRI operations across hospital and outpatient imaging settings, ensuring efficient workflow, exceptional patient experiences, and high-quality imaging services. This hands-on leadership role dedicates approximately 80% of time to clinical patient care and 20% to supervisory, operational, and staff development responsibilities. You will mentor technologists, support departmental growth, manage throughput, and help maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership, direction, and day-to-day oversight of MRI operations across hospital and outpatient imaging services
Perform MRI examinations while maintaining an active clinical presence and modeling best practices in patient care and imaging quality
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, workflow management, and daily operational priorities to ensure efficient department performance
Oversee exam prioritization and throughput to support timely service for both inpatient and outpatient populations
Mentor, coach, and support the professional development of MRI technologists, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
Partner with imaging and clinical leadership to support the growth and advancement of cardiac MRI services
Ensure compliance with MRI safety protocols, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
Monitor quality metrics and implement process improvements to enhance patient experience, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes
Serve as a resource for staff, physicians, and leadership while promoting exceptional customer service and patient-centered care
Requirements
Current ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required
Minimum of five years of MRI experience preferred, including experience in a high-volume clinical setting
Prior exposure to cardiac MRI imaging and protocols preferred
Hospital-based MRI experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to guide, mentor, and support MRI technologists
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and MRI safety standards
Additional Information 4x10 schedule
Typical start time between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM
Supervisor is not part of the routine call rotation
