Responsibilities
Lead the hospital's day-to-day accounting and finance operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial activities
Oversee the general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and preparation of financial statements
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning initiatives
Monitor financial performance, analyze key operational and financial metrics, and provide actionable insights to support executive decision-making
Partner with department leaders to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and organizational outcomes
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and financial reporting requirements
Support annual audits, cost reports, and other regulatory reporting while ensuring audit readiness
Identify financial risks, recommend process improvements, and implement strategies that strengthen financial controls and operational performance
Collaborate closely with the Market CFO, Hospital CEO, and Executive Leadership Team to support strategic planning, hospital growth, and organizational initiatives
Present financial analyses, recommendations, and performance updates to executive leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth
Build strong partnerships across finance, clinical, and operational departments to support exceptional patient care and organizational success
Requirements
Minimum of five years of progressive finance or accounting leadership experience within an acute care hospital or integrated health system
Strong knowledge of hospital accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, reimbursement, internal controls, and healthcare regulatory compliance
Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while partnering effectively with operational and executive leaders
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
CPA, MBA, MHA, or another advanced degree is preferred but not required
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and executive presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial information, solve problems, and make sound strategic decisions in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement
Willingness to relocate to Pasco, Washington, and work onsite

Benefits This position offers a competitive annual salary of $135,000-$160,000, plus a 10% annual performance bonus and a $20,000-$25,000 sign-on bonus.
