Job Summary
Homeland Talent Solutions has partnered with a large for-profit acute care hospital to identify an experienced Director of Cath Lab (RN) to lead a growing cardiovascular services division. This high-visibility leadership opportunity is ideal for a strong Cath Lab or EP nursing leader seeking to make a direct impact on clinical quality, patient outcomes, physician collaboration, and service line growth within a fast-paced acute care environment.

The Director of Cath Lab will provide operational, clinical, and strategic leadership for the Cath Lab service line, partnering closely with executive leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support departmental performance, staff engagement, and exceptional patient care. The Director of Cath Lab will play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and supporting long-term cardiovascular growth initiatives. The ideal Director of Cath Lab will bring a strong background in Cath Lab and/or EP clinical operations, leadership experience within an acute care hospital setting, and the ability to lead teams effectively in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the Cath Lab department
  • Lead, mentor, and support the development of nursing and clinical staff
  • Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership on departmental and service line initiatives
  • Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, productivity, and daily departmental operations
  • Assist with budgeting, operational planning, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, patient-centered care, and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and clinical best practices

Requirements
  • Current RN license required
  • Previous Cath Lab and/or EP experience required
  • Prior hospital leadership or management experience strongly preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and operational management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Additional Information
  • Full-Time Day Shift, Monday-Friday

This position offers competitive pay of $44.22–$59.70/hour based on experience, along with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
