This organization is building a data-driven, multi-entity platform and continues to expand through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting. This position offers strong exposure to leadership and the chance to contribute meaningfully within a dynamic, multi-entity environment. Responsibilities
Support the monthly close process, including preparing and reviewing financial reports
Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, coding errors, and variances
Analyze financial results and provide clear, actionable insights
Assist with multi-entity accounting, including intercompany transactions
Support tax-related activities such as sales tax, excise tax, and multi-state requirements
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to maintain accurate financial data
Help improve processes and drive system efficiencies
Requirements
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including time at the Staff level and at least 1–2 years operating as a Senior Accountant
Strong experience with financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations (beyond basic bank recs), and month-end close
Experience working in a multi-entity or mid-market environment preferred
Exposure to tax (sales tax, multi-state, or similar) is a plus
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
Experience with NetSuite is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or progress toward a Master’s is a plus
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy
Naturally curious with the ability to investigate and solve issues
Strong ownership mindset and accountability for your work
Clear, confident communicator who collaborates well across teams
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Familiarity with New Jersey sales tax (professional or personal experience), preferred
Additional Information This hybrid Senior Accountant role offers a balanced structure with a 50/50 split between hands-on reporting and review, giving you both ownership and oversight. As you ramp up, the focus shifts to approximately 60% reporting, 30% reconciliations, and 10% tax-related work—providing a well-rounded and engaging mix of responsibilities.
Benefits This position offers a $100,000–$130,000 base salary, plus bonus, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
