Job Summary Homeland has partnered with a leading regional medical center to hire a Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab. This well-established acute care hospital is recognized for its advanced cardiovascular program, modern technology, and strong commitment to high-quality patient care across the community.
The Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab will play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, while working closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative setting focused on exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify individualized care needs
Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions based on patient condition
Deliver age-appropriate, high-quality care throughout all phases of treatment
Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support medical necessity and regulatory compliance
Develop, implement, and update Interdisciplinary Care Plans for each patient
Complete quality improvement (QI) assessments accurately and within required timeframes
Support procedural workflows while ensuring patient safety before, during, and after interventions
Requirements
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred, not required
ACLS and PALS certifications to be obtained within six months of hire
At least one (1) year of nursing experience, preferred
One to three (1–3) years of recent experience in critical care or Cath Lab, strongly preferred
Additional Information Full-time, day shift position with 12-hour shifts, including on-call responsibilities and a rotating schedule requiring every 5th weekend.
